Since November 2012 The Arbitrator aka Michael Fraser has been working with a small team of advocates, researchers, journalists, industry insiders, lawyers and whistleblowers to assist customers that have been disaffected by actions of the Commonwealth Bank.
We have noticed particular patterns of behaviour within CommInsure that would suggest many genuine insurance claims are denied. Particularly around 'failure to disclose information' at the time of creating the policy.
In addition, when customers make a complaint about their claim denial to the Commonwealth Bank's 'independent' Group Customer Relations team, we found them quick to turn the customer away, saying they have done no wrong, and they won't be responding to further communication.
